Cardhu Scotch Purchase In Canada

Haiti: Saturday, November 20 Meals solidarity. Week of international solidarity. Amnesty

Déodatie Solidarity, solidarity and gourmet meals for Haiti-Heart

Organized by: Collective inter-association vosges Eastern

"Because that solidarity should not be ad hoc but continues"

On January 12, 2010 at 16:53 local time, Haiti has suffered an earthquake with a magnitude of 7.0 to 7.3. Fifty-two aftershocks were recorded in the hours and days that followed.
Even today, the number of casualties remains unclear, we speak of 300,000 dead, 300,000 injured and nearly one and a half million homeless.
The cameras are parties and the greatest distress remains: landowners welcoming makeshift camps expel their inhabitants, torrential rains have caused hundreds of deaths; Following these floods, a highly virulent form of cholera in the island and has already affected nearly 3000 people of which 253 are already dead, already fragile hospitals are stormed and are powerless. We no longer talk of health risks, but health catastrophe to come.
After the cakes of mud after the earthquake, after hundreds of thousands of casualties and many wounded (most of whom are amputees), here is a devastating epidemic that promises ...

cameras are parties, the emotional blow has fallen and yet the situation is worsening day by day. We do not have to look elsewhere. Therefore, during this week of international solidarity, it is our duty to be concerned about the plight of Haitians again.
We look forward to meeting you next Saturday, November 20 at MJC Louise Michel from 19h to share a meal in solidarity, (15 euros) prepared by stanchions and friends, with all proceeds will be donated to the "Haiti-Heart", several members of this association will present and explain their different actions there.
Reservation at MJC Louise Michel from Tuesday, November 3 until Friday, November 12, 2010.

We need you to register and mobilize!

soon!

A: Petition to President of the French Republic to apply signature and ratification of the Optional Protocol to the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights.

Too often, governments have only produced rhetoric regarding their obligation to guarantee to all economic, social and cultural rights.

All governments have committed to reducing poverty and achieve the Millennium Development Goals, set by the UN.

But poor people often see their rights violated and generally do not opportunity to ask governments to account.

France: Human Rights at Risk

protest rally against the policies of stigmatization of Roma and Travellers by the French authorities.
Saturday, September 4 10:00
Place Jules Ferry. Saint-Die-des-Vosges

Parliament will vote in September on projects essential to the observance of human rights in France, Defender of Rights, custody, domestic security, Immigration and asylum ...
During the summer, the president and some ministers have made statements condemning the Roma and illegal immigrants and announced measures concern.
Amnesty International France called the French authorities to exercise self-control, demands respect rights of Travellers and Roma and regrets orientation essentially repressive measures announced.

past few months, the human rights situation in France in particular has been criticized by the Commissioner for Human Rights and the Commission against Racism and Intolerance of the Council of Europe and by the Committees Nations Convention against Torture and the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. Too often, the recommendations of these bodies are unfortunately no or little consideration, but this summer, French politicians have gone further by questioning their legitimacy.
protection of human rights of everyone in France does not pass by a declaration of war, or by about contributing to throw oil on the fire or by the laws of circumstances that could increase discrimination, injustice and tensions.
Amnesty International France asked the French authorities to refrain from actions that would endanger the values, principles and legal safeguards that underpin the democratic order raised by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the two international covenants ratified by France on civil and political rights Economic, Social and Cultural Rights.
